Crockpot Pot Roast

Crockpot Pot Roast

(Not the best picture, sorry)

  • 3 lb Bottom Rump Roast or Eye Round Roast [i've used both]
  • 1 cup of Flour
  • 2 cans of Golden Mushroom Soup (or regular cream of mushroom)
  • 1 package of Dry Onion Mix
  • 1 cup of Beef Broth
  • 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire Sauce
  • 2 cup water
  • 6 red potatoes, cut in fourths
  • 3 carrots diced
Season roast with garlic powder, onion powder and salt. Lightly cover roast with flour. Sear all sides in a pan with oil or butter. Cut up potatoes and carrots, place in crockpot, make a small "hole" and place roast. Combine soup, onion mix, beef broth, worcestershire sauce, and water. Pour mixture over roast. Stir a bit to be sure it's covering everything in the crockpot. Cook on high for 4 hours, then low for 2 hours. This also makes it's own gravy, you can thicken the gravy with a bit of flour if you want. Voila, dinners done! :)
